I think realization of your concept is really important to give users and experts the right understanding of my concept and get more feedback to improve the concept. In my previous semesters at industrial design I did some programming and I also followed the course creative programming. But I did not know a lot about electronics, through this elective I wanted to get more understanding of the circuits I am building for my prototypes and what possibilities electronic circuits can create for data sensing and feedback loops. I think this elective could be very useful for my final bachelor project to increase the quality and efficiency of making prototypes. This elective helped me to be more confident about building circuits and helped me see the possibilities. I got to know new sensors which were introduced in the lectures, but also new methods to analyze my circuit before I build it. It was very interesting to use different tools to get to our results, building the circuit, the calculations and making a simulation of the circuit on the computer. Using these different tools will give me more opportunities to make a good circuit. Through analyzing and calculating properly I can filter out mistakes before I break one of the components and it can help me to make a plan for my circuit. In the lectures I found it really useful to see in simulations how the current reacts to de different voltages and how these voltages are influenced by the components. Through the visualization of the circuit and the current running through it, I began to understand more what happens if you use for example an operational amplifier or a transistor. During the elective I already noticed that it is more easy for me to start building electronic circuits for my project. I now know how to measure current, voltage and resistance and use the tools available, for creating electronic circuits, at the faculty and this gives me more confidence. In my final bachelor project I definitely want to use the knowledge I gained from this and implement it.
