When I chose this course I was expecting to work in projects and learn how to manage these projects. But this course was really theoretical. It did focus a lot on the cultural differences of project management. But for me it would have been better to really carry out exercises. In this course I saw the different system with which they teach at SDU. there is a lot of inclusion of students in the form of questions in the lecture. And at the end of the course we needed to pass an oral exam. This oral exam was not a presentation, but you got the question in the meeting and needed to explain this to your teacher. During this course I learned about goal-directed project management. This is a project planning method which describes the objective, milestones, dependencies, activities and responsibilities. The structure of the management of a project is explained. And finally how to motivate staff, through Herzberg and Maslow.
